Fineblanking
Fineblanking is a precision blanking process utilizing specialized triple acting presses to cold extrude parts to a “net shape” reducing the need for secondary operations. This ultimately leads to greater precision in terms of flatness, shape or profile, feature true position and edge quality providing greater value to the customer through lower component cost.
Conventional Stamping

MPI’s conventional stamping option provides excellent value for applications requiring high repeatability where price is a driving factor through lower equipment and development costs in products that can tolerate slightly higher tolerances when compared to that of fineblanking. MPI has presses ranging from 150 to 1500 tons.

Flatness and surface profile improvement beyond grinding capabilities down to 5 microns.
