Founded in 1969, MPI is a U.S. owned precision metal fabrication company with 500 employees manufacturing in Knox, Indiana, Deerfield, Wisconsin, and Queretaro, Mexico. MPI HQ’s is in Troy, Michigan. We currently supply hydraulic pump, commercial truck, agriculture, medical, and automotive transmission markets. We are targeting construction, and non-ICE automotive applications.

OUR HISTORY
MPI (established as Michigan Precision Industries) was established in the United States in 1969 by an entrepreneurial group of Swiss fine blanking engineers. Specializing in precision automotive transmission parts with a focus on clutch plates, the business grew to employ 500+ individuals and generate $150M+ in revenue.
